5 Things July 10: Urban Agriculture Meeting, Summer Concert at Adams Park

The Roslindale Public Library may be renovated, and opinions, ideas and concerns are wanted from residents.


  1. Tonight (Wed., July 10) is the only scheduled meeting for the Roslindale/West Roxbury communities to discuss Boston's urban agriculture plan to address zoning changes to reflect modern times of hen and beekeeping, rooftop farms, composting and more. 6:30-8:30 p.m. Roche Family Community Center, 1716 Centre St., West Roxbury. 
  2. On Thursday enjoy a concert in Roslindale Village. See The Marshalls play at Adams Park, hosted by the Boston Parks Dept. 6-7:30 p.m.
  3. The Roslindale Public Library may be renovated, and opinions, ideas and concerns are wanted from residents. There are two ways for residents to be involved: Come to the next meeting of the Community Advisory Committee on July 31 at 6 p.m. at the branch library; or submit your comments by email to cschonhart@bpl.org. 
  4. Jenny Nkwah, 14, of Roslindale, has been missing from homesince October, and has been seen around the area. If you've seen her please contact police by calling 911.
