Roslindale Library May Get a Facelift

A letter from the president of the Friends of the Roslindale Library let residents know about possible renovations to the library.

The Roslindale Public Library may get a facelift.

Details of possible renovations at the small branch in Roslindale Village were offered by a letter sent by Laura Gang, president of the Friends of the Roslindale Branch Library.

"The Roslindale Branch Library may get a face lift. As a first step to a possible renovation, an architectural firm is doing a building study," wrote Gang. "It’s soliciting opinions, ideas, and concerns about how the library building can best serve our community."

Gang said residents can share their suggestions in two ways: Come to the next meeting of the Community Advisory Committee on July 31 at 6 p.m. at the branch library; or submit your comments by email to cschonhart@bpl.org.

"We welcome your ideas for making our building better," added Gang.

So what do you think? What are your ideas on renovating the Roslindale Public Library located at 4246 Washington St.
