Dorchester Man Charged with Heroin Possession

  Boston Police charged a Dorchester man with possession of about $100 worth of heroin after an alleged drug deal that started in the CVS parking lot in Roslindale. On April 7, around 4:34 p.m., Lawrence Natale, of 513 Washington St., Dorchester, was arrested and charged with possession of a class A substance, heroin. Drug Control Unit officers were surveilling the area of 4600 Washington Street in Roslindale, a known area for drug transactions, according to a Boston Police report. Officers noted a silver Chevy Impala idling in the CVS parking lot with two occupants, who were joined by a third individual, who entered the rear seat of the vehicle. Roslindale Man Arrested for Driving with Suspended License

  Boston Police charged a Roslindale man with driving with a suspended license, of which the suspect told officers about after they stopped him for not stopping at a red light. On April 5, around 2:38 p.m., Jose Garcia, of 164 Florence St. #1, Roslindale, was arrested and charged with driving with a revoked drivers license and issued a red light violation. Police observed the suspect driving a silver Kia fail to stop at a red light at Washington Street and Cummins Highway. The suspect allegedly told police his license was suspended, and a computer check confirmed that information. The vehicle was towed.

Roslindale Man Arrested on Warrant for Passing Fake $7K Check

  A Roslindale man was arrested on a warrant for depositing and drawing money on a counterfeit check of more than $7,000 at the Bank of America. On March 3 around 5:50 p.m., Ramon Vasquez, of 94 Birch St., Roslindale, was arrested on a West Roxbury District Court warrant for larceny of more than $250, forgery and uttering. He was arrested at his home without incident. On Nov. 20, 2012, the Global Fraud Detection Service Operations notified the Bank of America that the check deposited was counterfeit. The bank's total net loss was $7,667.05. A Bank of America senior compliance specialist first contacted to Boston Police on Dec. 19, 2012, to report the Roslindale Village branch had been a victim of a larceny, according to a Boston Police …

Search Warrant Yields 24 Bags of Crack, Roslindale Man Arrested

  A Roslindale man was arrested after a search warrant allegedly yielded 24 plastic bags of crack from a Washington Street apartment. On Feb. 22 around 11:14 a.m., James A. Frederick, of 3964 Washington St. #2, Roslindale, was arrested and charged on possession of drugs with the intent to distribute. Members of the E-5/E-18 Drug Control Unit executed a search warrant at the suspect's apartment, and gained access to his home, according to a Boston Police report. Man Charged with Urinating On, Breaking Romano's Door in Roslindale

  Boston Police charged a man with allegedly urinating on and breaking the glass door at Romano's Pizza in Roslindale Village. On Feb. 21 around 3:40 p.m., Robert J. Pulera, listed as homeless, was arrested and charged with indecent exposure, destruction of personal property and larceny of less than $50.  Police were called to Romano's for a report of a man urinating on and kicking the dooor of Romano's Pizza. An employee told police the suspect ate two bags of chips without paying for them and then left the business.  The suspect then returned into the vestibule of the business and allegedly exposed his penis while urinating on the floor, door and window, according to a Boston Police report. Man Arrested for Assault on Police Officer After Escorted Out of Redd's in Rozzie

  Boston Police ended up arresting an inebriated West Roxbury man after he became combatitive while officers were trying to just give him a ride home. On Feb. 19 around 8:05 p.m., Kevin George Bowes, 10 Maplewood St., West Roxbury, was arrested and charged with assault and battery on a police officer and resisting arrest. Police were called to Redd's in Rozzie and spoke with an employee who said the suspect had been asked to leave after being confrontational with patrons. Officers noted the suspect was intoxicated and told him he was asked to leave by management, according to a Boston Police report. Four Tires Slashed on Car Parked on Colgate Road in Roslindale

  A Roslindale resident reported that four tires on his car were slashed overnight while parked on Colgate Road. Around 6 p.m. on Feb. 21, the victim told Boston Police that his 2003 Toyota had been parked in front of 2 Colgate Road the prior day and when he came out that morning he found his tires slashed, according to a Boston Police report.

Roslindale Woman Arrested for Violating Harassment Order - Again - Twice this Month

  A Roslindale woman was arrested for the second time this month for allegedly violating a harassment prevention order. On Feb. 13 at 1:45 p.m., Ellen Degnan of 277 Beech St. #1, Roslindale, was arrested and charged with violation of a harassment prevention order. She was also arrested on Feb. 2 for violating a harassment prevention order. Boston Police were called to 277 Beech St., Roslindale, a location they are familiar with due to numerous incidents involving the suspect, according to a Boston Police report. Mom Hands Over Son's Stolen Gun, Fearing He's in Gang in Roslindale

  Boston Police arrested a Roslindale man who allegedly broke into his mother's apartment after she kicked him out for finding a gun in his room. The mother told police she believes her son may be gang-affiliated due to his green colored beads he wears regularly. On Feb. 14 around 3:29 a.m., Jose Montanez Jr., of 14 Delford St., Roslindale, was arrested and charged with receiving stolen property of more than $250 and unlawful possession of a firearm. On Feb. 13, while looking for her cellphone in her son's room, she allegedly found an unloaded Smith & Wessun .38 caliber five-shot, wrapped in green and white beads in a dresser, according to a Boston Police report. Police Investigating Two Sudden Deaths at Cliffmont Street Elderly Complex

HAZMAT is currently onsite at 1 Cliffmont Street in case there is hazardous waste.

  Boston Police are currently investigating two sudden deaths that occured in an elderly housing complex at 1 Cliffmont St. in Roslindale, within the last 24 hours. A HAZMAT crew is on scene, too, to investigate whether there are any hazardous isues at the Boston Housing Authority-run building. Both deaths were men, with one occurring last night, and one occurring this morning, confirmed a BPD spokesperson. A third person was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries this morning. The sex of that person was not known by the spokesperson.
