Woman Escapes Purse Snatcher, Assaulted on Bradeen Street in Roslindale

Boston Police met with a female victim at Brigham and Women's Hospital after she fought off an attempted purse snatcher, who assaulted her as well, on Bradeen Street in Roslindale.

Around 10:20 p.m. on Wed., July 10, police spoke with the victim who had visible bruises on her right arm and an abrasion on her face under her lip, according to a Boston Police report. 

The victim told police she was walking down Bradeen Street when an unidentified male attacked her from behind and tried to take her purse. She said she resisted and the suspect struck her on her right arm with an unknown object, and kicked her right leg.
