Stolen Vehicle Involved in Hit-and-Run in Roslindale

The following article is based on a Boston Police report.


A vehicle stolen from South Conway Street was involved in a hit-and-run accident several hours later on Fawndale Road in Roslindale, without any suspect on the scene.

Boston Police responded to a two vehicle hit-and-run accident around 2:45 a.m. on July 16 at Fawndale Road and Washington Street, according to a Boston Police report.

One vehicle with a damaged front fender had a driver, while the stolen and abandoned vehicle had damage on the driver's side rear passenger door and rear wheel, and the vehicle was still running. Both vehicles needed to be towed. 

Police confirmed the vehicle stolen after speaking to a resident who said his vehicle was stolen sometime after 8:30 p.m. from S. Conway Street on July 15.
