Man Caught on Warrant for Assault with a Knife in Roslindale

Boston Police arrested a man wanted on a warrant for threatening to commit and attempted assault with a knife.

On Nov. 15 around 12:40 p.m., Perest Antoine, who gave a listed address of 60 Archdale Road, #275, Roslindale, was arrested on a warrant out of West Roxbury District Court on April 15, 2012 for threats to commite a crime, attempt to commit a crime, attempted assault with a dangerous weapon, a knife.

Police arrested the suspect at 75 Boylston Street in Boston, and the suspect was also in possession of a large plastic bag containing a substance to believed to be marijuana. He was also issued a citation for marijuana possession.

The warrant stems from an April 15, 2012 incident in which the suspect allegedly threatened a victim at 60 Archdale Road in Roslindale, threatening to stab the victim. Police discovered the suspect had a knife on him after he was arrested. The suspect gave his address as 60 Archdale Road, but the victim said that was not the suspect's address, and it was confirmed the suspect was not a lease at the residence or lived there.
