'BANG' Keyed Into Car on Albano Street, Resident Calls it Hate Crime

An Albano Street resident reported to Boston Police that her vehicle was keyed with the words "BANG" and "BOSTON" in Roslindale recently.

On Sunday, July 7, around 8 a.m., police met with the victim whose vehicle had "BOSTON" keyed along the driver's side of the vehicle, and "BANG" keyed in the rear of the vehicle, according to a Boston Police report.

The victim told police she had parked her vehicle the previous day around 3 p.m., and noticed the vandalism at 7:45 a.m. The victim told police she is friendly with all the neighbors on the street and could not imagine why the vandalism happened to her vehicle. On several occasions the victim told police she believed the vandalism to be a hate crime, according to a Boston Police report.
