Photos: Winners of Roslindale Substation Photo Contest

Preston Keller won the Roslindale Substation Photo Contest.

 

The Boston Society of Architects Photography Committee visited the historic Roslindale Substation in September and photographers were encouraged to enter into the photo contest. 

Preston Keller’s black and white photo of the interior of the Roslindale Substation was found to be the winner, according to Roslindale Village Main Street's website. Keller will receive a gift certificate to a local Roslindale restaurant.The photographs in this gallery were submitted and were put on display for voting at the Roslindale Village Farmers’ Market and residents selected Keller's photo.

The prints were auctioned as part of Roslindale Open Studios.

The Roslindale Substation is being redevelope at the intersection of Cummins Highway and Washington Street. There will be a meeting on Wed., Jan. 30, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. about the Substation project. The meeting will be at the Knights of Columbus Hall at 4192 Washington St., Roslindale.
