Tomorrow there will be a free cookout Flaherty Pool Block Party for families!
- Tonight is GreeningRozzie's Sustainability book group discussing Gaviotas: A Village to Reinvent the World by Alan Weisman. If you can’t make the book group you can get a sense of what was talked about by reading the GreeningRozzie blog. See the next couple of readings here. Select Cafe, 2 Belgrade Ave. 6:30-8:30 p.m. Free. More info: RSVP, and suggest future readings.
- Tomorrow from 5:30-7:30 p.m., there will be a Flaherty Pool Block Party including a free cookout with Boston Centers for Youth & Families hosting the re-opening celebration for the BCYF Flaherty Pool. Mayor Thomas Menino is expected to be in attendance for the ribbon cutting at 6:30 p.m. 160 Florence St.
- On Thursday come and see The Marshalls play at Adams Park, hosted by the Boston Parks Dept. 6-7:30 p.m.
- Today there is Films for Preschool Children for free at the Roslindale Library from 10:30-11:30 a.m.
