5 Things July 12: Roslindale Food Tour with Chef Lester Esser
The Roslindale Public Library may be renovated, and opinions, ideas and concerns are wanted from residents.
- At the Roslindale Village Farmers' Market on Saturday has live music by Cruzamente at 11 a.m. Children’s activities with Kasey Appleman at 10 a.m. The market is open from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Adams Park.
- Special events scheduled for the Farmers' Market this week include a Roslindale Food Tour with Chef Lester Esser (sign-up for this) at 10 a.m., and free yoga with Open Doors Yoga Studios at 9 a.m.
- Friday is Free Fun Fridays at the Museum of Fine Arts today - meaning free admission.
- The Roslindale Public Library may be renovated, and opinions, ideas and concerns are wanted from residents. There are two ways for residents to be involved: Come to the next meeting of the Community Advisory Committee on July 31 at 6 p.m. at the branch library; or submit your comments by email to cschonhart@bpl.org.
- Jenny Nkwah, 14, of Roslindale, has been missing from home since October, and has been seen around the area. If you've seen her please contact police by calling 911.
