5 Things July 11: The Marshalls in Concert at Adams Park; Rozzie Girl, 14, Still Missing
Enjoy a free summer concert Thursday night at Adams Park in Roslindale
- Tonight enjoy a free concert and summer fun in Roslindale Village. See The Marshalls play at Adams Park, hosted by the Boston Parks Dept. 6-7:30 p.m.
- The Roslindale Public Library may be renovated, and opinions, ideas and concerns are wanted from residents. There are two ways for residents to be involved: Come to the next meeting of the Community Advisory Committee on July 31 at 6 p.m. at the branch library; or submit your comments by email to cschonhart@bpl.org.
- Jenny Nkwah, 14, of Roslindale, has been missing from homesince October, and has been seen around the area. If you've seen her please contact police by calling 911.
- Throughout the month of July, all Domino’s Pizza stores (like the one in Roslindale) in Massachusetts are collecting donations with customer orders to support the Massachusetts DCF Kids Fund. Customers who order from the participating Domino’s Pizza stores can add a donation to their order (phone or in-store orders only). The DCF Kids Fund serves the 40,000 abused and neglected children under the care of the Massachusetts Department of Children and Families.
- At the Roslindale Village Farmers' Market on Saturday is live music by Cruzamente at 11 a.m. Children’s activities with Kasey Appleman at 10 a.m. And special events scheduled include a Roslindale Food Tour with Chef Lester Esser and free yoga with Open Doors Yoga Studios. Adams Park. 9 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
