- Boston Mayor Thomas Menino will deliver his 20th “State of the City” public address tonight at 7 p.m. at Faneuil Hall. Watch it on television at 7:30 p.m. on WCVB Channel 5 (RCN and Comcast) and on NECN Channel 6 (Comcast).
- On Wednesday is a a very important meeting that will impact the future of Roslindale Village is on Wed., Jan. 30, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. about the Roslindale Substation project. The meeting will be at the Knights of Columbus Hall at 4192 Washington St., Roslindale.
- Also on Wednesday, individuals ages 18 and older can come to Greater Roslindale Medical and Dental Center at 4199 Washington St. from 2:30-4:30 p.m. for free flu shots while supplies last. Walk-in, no appointment is needed.

1) end busing 2) full disclosure and transparency on Menino Casino 3) sell all City owned property that we don't need, acquired during 1970's when owners walked away 4) allow any and all legal business in Boston, stop picking winners and losers 5) stop requiring "donations" to political campaigns or favorite charities.

FYI - there will never be complete end to busing:
1) state law dictates that BPS fund charter and private school transportation for all Boston children
2) Fed & state laws for SWD also have transportation requirements
